Appropriate for all ages.       Text Box: Africa: The Serengeti and The Mysteries of Egypt will give your students a unique look at two distinctly different parts of the world in this double feature presentation.       Text Box: Imax Educational Series Text Box: In 2005, we introduced an educational opportunity by presenting IMAX’s spectacular documentaries on our very own BIG SCREEN. In 2006 over 4,000 students experience the Wichita Theatre presentations. We make this series available again this year for all age levels. Below are the movies we are featuring this year. Cost per student is $5.00 which includes the Wichita Theatre famous popcorn and soft drink. Teachers are free while additional accompanying adults are the same as the children. You may choose any combination of two movies below or from our website to fit your curriculum or student’s grade level. Each movie is 40 minutes in length. Reservations are required and some minimums may apply.

Text Box: Just for Fun Our school program began in 1997 when a local principle wanted to treat his students to a reward for their efforts on TAAS(now TAKS). He brought 500 students from Zundy Jr. High for a movie of their choice and popcorn and soft drink. That tradition now continues. You can choose to come anytime of year, however, we specifically program in December and in May again for School movie days. We hope you’ll choose to let the Wichita be a part of your school year.
